Opportunity | Duty Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To perform general tasks associated with the position.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete maintenance job requests
• Ensure maximum mechanical uptime
• Perform systematic and correct fault finding
• Adhere to supplier’s warranty instructions and company rules when repairing equipment
• Do repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications and maintenance processes
• Test equipment before handover to production personnel
• Follow-up and feed-back reporting as required
• Clean and service all equipment as required
• Strict adherence to Health, Safety and Bio-Security policies and procedures
• General duties associated with the department
• Perform reasonable ad hoc tasks as given by the superior

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• Technical Diploma (N2) will be advantageous
• Three (3) years work experience in a maintenance parts and workshop related environment
• Namibian citizen
• Proficient in English, being bilingual will be an advantage
• Able to work shifts, weekends, overtime, Sundays and on public holidays
