Assistant Bursar: Procurement – University of Namibia – Windhoek, Namibia

Specification

To manage the procurement and tendering function of the University of Namibia in line with the Public Procurement Act of 2015 as well as adhering to relevant policies and procedures and perform any other duties as may be required.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Accounting / Business Administration with at least five (5) years related experience, three (3) years of which should be at supervisory level in a procurement department, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least eight (8) years experience in managing a Procurement function of a medium to large enterprise. Extensive knowledge and exposure to the Public Procurement Act, Act 1 of 2015 . A strong personality to be able to deal with various levels of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
