ASSISTANT ADVERTISING – WUM Properties Ltdt/ PicknPay

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate all general merchandise advertising, promotions, and communications.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A recognized Grade 12 Certificate and a minimum of 3 years in Marketing environment.
• Code B Driver’s License
• Supermarket experience will be advantageous.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Understand the Marketing Promotional Calendar and Marketing Budget provided by the Coordinator Marketing.
• Capture all buyers deals on both Share drive and Promo tool
• Make sure templates are uploaded onto Promo Tool
• Work collaboratively with the Advertising Agencies and Marketing Department to ensure accurate execution of promotional and advertising plan.
• Deadlines to be clearly communicated and distributed to the buying team timeously
• Communicate timeously to the stores on promotions, advertising, and events
• Communicate any deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Effectively build relationships across the stores and with advertising agencies to understand product specifications.
• Check in with stores on relevant promotional lines for validation at the till points.
• Perform various administrative duties timeously
• Provide monthly report
