Admin / Operations Clerks – Cold Store

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Admin / Operations Clerks to join our busy Cold Store Team. This is a key support role, combining front office reception duties, operational support, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact by welcoming and assisting visitors, clients, suppliers, and truck drivers in a professional manner.

• Managing incoming calls, emails, correspondence, filing, and document control.

• Coordinating driver and visitor inductions, maintaining sign-in and out registers, and ensuring compliance with cold store safety procedures.

• Assisting with scheduling of deliveries and collections, preparation of daily and weekly reports, and coordinating courier services.

• Managing the procurement and stock control of consumables, PPE, and office stationery.

• Supporting operational staff with order capturing, dispatch paperwork, stock reconciliations, and record-keeping.

• Maintaining accurate databases and assisting with cold store system entries.

• Providing day-to-day administrative support to management and operational teams as required.

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in processes and systems.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (additional training in administration or logistics an advantage).

• Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or operations support role, ideally within warehousing, logistics, or cold storage.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with data entry systems.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional, service-oriented attitude with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
