Vacancy Description
Purpose of the job:
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, reconciling of accounts, and supporting the finance team with any finance-related tasks as required.
Key Performance Areas:
⦁ Provide orders and payment processing services.
⦁ Prepare creditor’s accounts and reconciliation.
⦁ Maintain financial records, information, and statistics.
⦁ Prepare creditor’s payments, control, and bank reconciliation.
⦁ Perform monthly debtor s reconciliation as per age analysis
⦁ Extract monthly sales and deposits per branch
⦁ Match sales & deposits per branch on Excel and investigate discrepancies.
⦁ Perform bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
⦁ Manage petty cash.
Provide accounting and administrative support services.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
⦁ Grade 12 certificate at NQF Level 3 plus a Diploma in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping.
⦁ A minimum of two (2) years working experience in a similar position.
⦁ Computer literacy (Ms Word. Excel, Outlook, etc.) is compulsory.
