Duneside Private High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a full-time teaching position for Accounting Grade 8 to AS Level, Business Studies Grade 9 to AS Level. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to fostering academic excellence and inspiring learners to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching in Accounting, Business Studies, developing engaging lesson plans, assessing learners progress, and providing constructive feedback. The educator will also play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment that encourages learner participation and critical thinking.

Appointment Requirements:

The Candidate is expected to have:

• A recognized 3/4-year tertiary teaching qualification on NQF Level 6/7. OR an appropriate recognized 3/4 year tertiary teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 6/7 in relation to the subject to be taught plus 1 year teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching AS Level or Higher Level in subjects indicated above.
• Excellent communication skills needed.
• High levels of professionalism, motivated and performance driven, with strong administration and organizing skills sets.
• Applicants must be Namibian citizens. Suitably qualified non-Namibian candidates may be considered, subject to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Supplementary Requirements:

• Candidate should have advanced teaching skills in E-Learning (knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Edupac).
• Have exceptional Interpersonal Communication skills.
• Have a high Emotional Intelligence acumen.
• Must be a self-starter with a high degree of self-discipline.
