To provide expertise and advice to support the development of operational implementation plans and associated service delivery processes, methods and techniques and to prepare, analyse and report on commercial cost and recovery models as well as variances on operational and financial targets, enabling informed management decision making and contributing to client / customer satisfaction, optimal profitability, reduced risk and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and reconciliation of Debtors and Creditors, and related control accounts.
Cashbook management: processing entries and preparing reconciliations
General Ledger Control and Reconciliations
Preparation of flash reports and month end reporting requirements.
Preparation and submission of payment reconciliations
Liaising with customers on debt collections.
Maintaining of proper filing records

Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate (minimum)
Proficient in English
Accounting qualification will be advantageous
Computer Literate with solid knowledge and experience in MS Office, especially MS Excel
Minimum of (3) three years related experience
Namibian citizen or valid work permit
Energetic and dynamic
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Available to work overtime when required
Highly developed organisational skills
A meticulous and thorough nature
Maturity to handle a range of situations
Team player and willing to assist colleagues when required
Adhering to principles and values
