FINANCE DEPARTMENT

• Post Designation: Accountant

• Period: Fixed term contract – annual renewal

• Location Duty station: Head Office, Windhoek

• Closing Date for Applications: 14th November 2025

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• Five (5) years’ relevant experience in the field.

• Valid Police Clearance Certificate

• A valid driver’s license (Code B)

• Certified in Pastel Accounting software

Supplementary Requirements:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite

• Experience in dealing with donor funding in a non-governmental organisation will be an advantage

• Good time management skills are essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting Finance Manager in financial operations.

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports

• Payroll

• Monthly reconciliations: VAT, Payroll, supplier statements

• Administer monthly fund requests with budget expenditure

• Prepare and attend to annual audits

• Recording of invoices on the Pastel System
