ACCOUNTANT – HANGANENI ARTISANAL FISHING ASSOCIATIONS

Duties:

The Accountant is a senior level management position reporting to the Director, and thus responsible for following duties:
1. Auditing preps of HAFA Finances
2. Ensure Internal control systems
3. Review of Finance Policy
4. Annual budgeting and Monitoring (planning and reporting)
5. Statutory Compliance and Inventory management
6. Procurement
7. Debtors, Creditors control and bank reconciliations

Requirements:
• Post-matric qualification in Finance and Accounting (3-year diploma or degree) NQF7
• Experience in financial management and accounting
• Experience in working with NGOs/CBOs or large groups

Additional Skills:
• Fishing industry experience
• Computer literacy (Knowledge of Pastel or Related Program, Excel, Word and powerpoint)
• Driver’s licence
• Management skills (Planning, Leading, Organizing, Control including analytical skills)
