Accountant

POST:                                        1 x Accountant . Grade C4

Salary Scale:                            NS 138 545 – 144 257 per annum

Transport Allowance:             NS 7 704 per Annum

Housing Allowance:              20% of the Annual Basic Salary

Medical AID:                           85% Council Contribution

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma NQF: Level 6 in Accounting & Finance/Business Administration with Accounting as a major subject
• 3 years appropriate experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Practical working knowledge and understanding International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS)
• Sound knowledge of the Public Procurement Act , 2015 (Act no 15 of 2015)
• Sound Knowledge of Finstel Financial Systems
• Management and financial accounting skills, analytical skills, planning and organizing skills, computer literacy, customer oriented, time management, self – starting / initiative
• Be a Namibian Citizen
• Basic Knowledge of Finstel shall be an added advantage

NB: Candidates with foreign qualifications must attach proof of evaluation of such qualification from Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA)
