As an Accountant based at our Head Office in Windhoek, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. You will collaborate closely with management to analyze data, prepare reports, and contribute to sound financial decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports

• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closures

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Support audits and liaise with external auditor

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

• Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and GAAP/IFRS

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
