Key Responsibilities

• Matching proof of delivery documents (POD’s) to the trip sheets upon receipt, and immediately follow up on any outstanding documents.
• Checking that all invoices/ waybills are signed upon receipt.
• Scanning and indexing border documentation etc. (SAD500, EDI, CN2)
• Checking POD’s for completeness before indexing
• Assist with rectifications on the Parcel Perfect system
• Complete documentation (Invoice and POD)
• Capturing and printing of invoices
• Scan processed invoices & proof of deliveries daily
• Daily forwarding of proof of deliveries & invoices to our esteemed clientele
• Ensure that all waybills are followed up where documents are not received
• Other general administrative duties in line with the responsibilities of an Invoicing clerk.

Requirements

• Valid grade 12 (with at least 23 points), preferably with a Certificate in Accounting.
• 2 years’ applied experience in the transport/logistics industry.
• Computer literacy-being proficient in Parcel Perfect and Microsoft office will be an added advantage.
• A sense of urgency with the ability to work accurately.
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
• Good communication skills – understand, read & write.
• Exceptional customer service background and presentable.
• Attention to detail, and dependable person.
• Ability to work under pressure, and possess good problem-solving skills.
• Able to accept and execute instructions.
• Willingness to listen and learn.
• Police clearance certificate (not older than 3 months) – No criminal record.
• Namibian Citizenship.
