Job Description

Conduct financial transactions for customers. This includes recording bets, exchanging bank notes for playable coins and vice versa, loading or deducting credit onto/from memberships, processing credit card transactions

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Work shifts
• Work every alternate weekend
• Receive and record customer bets on the system with great care and accuracy
• Receive and pay out money to customer with great care and accuracy
• Balance floats at the beginning and end of shifts
• Record Information by entering it onto a computer system or In writing
• Report any problems, variances, irregularities and/or shortages to the Manager and provide assistance to resolve/sort out the issue
• Report any equipment malfunctions, problems or faults the Manager

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Good command of the English and Afrikaans languages with excellent oral communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues (Native languages will be an advantage)
• Customer service orientated
• Ability to work independently with minimum or little supervision
• Ability to investigate and resolve cash differences
• Good cash handling skills
• Have integrity — being honest and ethical
• De well organized and work systematically
• Neat and professional appearance

Education and experience

• Grade 12
• Computer literate
• Previous experience in the Gaming Industry will be an advantage
