UN Volunteers (UNV) Namibia is the country office of the United Nations Volunteers programme, operating under the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Namibia in Windhoek. It recruits, deploys, and supports national and international volunteers who contribute to Namibian government priorities, including climate resilience, youth employment, and gender equality. The office works closely with ministries such as the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism on locally led initiatives. All volunteer assignments are embedded within Namibia’s national development frameworks, including the Harambee Prosperity Plan II.
