The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund is a Namibian statutory body established under the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund Act to provide assistance and benefits to people injured in motor vehicle accidents within Namibia. Headquartered in Windhoek, the Fund compensates victims and their dependants for injuries or losses sustained on the country’s roads. Its mandate also extends to promoting road safety and accident prevention initiatives across Namibia. The Fund is funded through a portion of fuel levies collected in Namibia. Through its services, it plays a central role in supporting road accident victims and enhancing road safety nationwide.
