Maltahohe Village Council is a statutory local authority established under Namibian law to administer the village of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. It delivers essential municipal services including water supply, waste management, local road maintenance, and land allocation within its jurisdiction. The council operates under the framework of the Namibian Local Authorities Act and reports to the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development. As one of several village councils in Namibia’s decentralised governance system, it plays a key role in grassroots service delivery and community participation in the southern part of the country.
