The Namibian Standards Institution (NSI) was established in terms of the Standards Act, 2005 (Act No. 18 of 2005). The
primary role of the NSI is to promote Standardisation and Quality Assurance in industry, commerce and the public sector in
Namibia, with the aim of improving product quality, industrial efficiency and productivity, and to promote trade, so as to
achieve optimum benefits for Namibia.
Primary purpose of position:
To develop and manage internal capacities to effectively deal with all financial, asset management and ICT services as well as
optimising on all operational transactions. To set specific policy framework that will govern all direct and impacted work
processes and set targets to be achieved in those areas. To ensure that the NSI remains operationally sound in carrying its
mandate. Lastly, to build a systematic and integrated approach to the provision of services, advice and support in this functional
areas.
Educational requirements:
At least ten (10) years’ working experience of which five (5) years should be at senior managerial level in a financial and/or
ICT environment.
Drivers license Code B, minimum two (2) years driving experience.
