What are the common day‑to‑day responsibilities of a Training Facilitator (Theatre) at a private hospital in Namibia?
The role involves designing and delivering theatre‑based training sessions that improve communication, empathy, and teamwork among clinical and non‑clinical staff. Administrative tasks such as maintaining training records, updating materials, and coordinating with department heads are also part of the job.
What is the typical work culture and what expectations do Namibian employers have for this role?
Namibian workplaces, especially private hospitals, emphasize professionalism, punctuality, and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds. As a facilitator you are expected to be adaptable, collaborative, and sensitive to both patient‑centered care and staff development goals. Demonstrating initiative in creating inclusive learning environments and adhering to hospital policies is essential.
What career progression or growth paths are available for a Training Facilitator (Theatre) in the Namibian healthcare sector?
With experience, you can advance to senior training or learning‑and‑development coordinator roles, overseeing multiple programs across departments.
