Key Responsibilities
- Process and procedures: Drive processes and policies across all branches to ensure a uniformed approach to administrative functions within the company.
- Data Maintenance / Product Purity: Creation of new product codes across the company, maintain a set standard in product description. Discontinue inactive product codes or as requested by branches and/or procurements specialists. Send complete product listings (T14 list) to suppliers to maintain product purity and pricing as discrepancies are identified.
- Netstock Data Purity and Reporting: Assist Inventory Cost Analyst and Branch Managers to ensure data purity in Netstock is up to standard. Send out daily reports informing Branch managers and procurement specials on out of stocks or potential out of stocks in their branches.
- Consignment Transfers: Transfer consignment cable to the normal stock code upon request.
- Price Maintenance Administration: Load campaign prices on the system agreed upon by Procurement Specialists, Cost Analyst and Branch Managers. Assist the cost analyst to populate marks up changes in the system received from product owners, procurement specialists and branch managers.
- ETA assistance: Analyse overdue ETAs and communicate with the relevant people (procurement administrator and Branch Managers) to follow up on their orders to ensure supplier lead times are correct in Kerridge and Netstock.
Requirements
- Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years, experience gained within a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a procurement role will be an added advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/business management systems and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
- Results-driven with strong ownership and accountability.
- Strong administrative ability.
- Excellent communication, solutions orientated, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be agile, energetic, and must have a high level of emotional intelligence.
