Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timeous collections of debtors.
- Accurate payment & cost allocations.
- Credit application processing and vetting.
- Control and management of debtors age analysis.
- Opening of new accounts.
- Ensure good customer interaction with regards to queries, proof of deliveries, claims and general correspondence.
- Manage credit limits of customers on approved limits.
- Processing of debtors in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Timeous internal and external communication.
- Timeous handover of bad debt to the attorneys.
- Compile and submit management and/or other reports as required.
- Credit notes for settlement discounts, rebates, price differences and promotional discounts.
- Assist with any ad hoc functions/projects as prescribed by supervisor/manager.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with at least five (5) years’ experience in the FMCG industry.
- Experience with Microsoft applications and relevant software.
- Accpac experience would be an added advantage.
- Valid Namibian driver’s licence.
- Namibian citizen.
