Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries and verify quantities, quality, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records (incoming, outgoing, transfers, and adjustments).
- Issue stock to departments according to internal procedures.
- Conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests for re-ordering as required.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, labelling, and stock rotation.
- Control expiry dates, damages, losses, and wastage reporting.
- Ensure compliance with lodge policies and internal inventory procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
- At least 2 years previous experience will be an advantage.
- Strong numeracy skills and pay attention to detail.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office365).
- Ability to work accurately with documents and follow procedures.
- Trustworthy and responsible with stock and records.
- Willingness to work with deadlines and participate in stock takes.
