Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the implementation of vocational programs.
- Manage trainers’ compliance with NTA-approved Training and Assessment Delivery methodologies.
- Perform Assessment Administration and Coordination according to NTA National Assessment frameworks to maintain national compliance.
- Oversee and lead the implementation of Student Services, WIL and job placements.
- Provide Counselling, Social Welfare and wellness programs.
- Organize institutional student life events.
- Coordinate Institution recognition with regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Equivalent Qualification in Educational Leadership/Vocational Management at NQF Level 6.
- An added National Vocational Qualification at NQF Level 4 and above with 3 years of progressive leadership within a technical or vocational training school environment.
- Direct experience handling NTA audit and registration processes is preferred; Knowledge of Competency Based Education and Training System (CBET); TVET Training and Assessment Delivery Coordination.
- Deep understanding of the Namibia VET Act of 2008, NTA Registration Regulations, and NQA National Qualifications Framework (NQF) alignments;
- Flexibility with ability to provide support to trainees;
- Priorities of tasks and manage workload.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently with less supervision; communicate with stakeholders and work together to achieve desired outcomes.
