The Senior Construction Foreman will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards. The incumbent provides leadership to construction teams, oversees subcontractors, promotes a strong safety culture, and ensures the effective utilisation of labour, equipment, and materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors.
- Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Plan work schedules and allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards and identify potential issues.
- Resolve on-site problems and make decisions to minimize delays.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and site activities.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
- Participate in site meetings and communicate project requirements to the workforce.
Requirements
- Diploma, trade qualification, or equivalent experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ relevant construction experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within construction projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in construction reporting, project documentation, and record keeping.
