Key Responsibilities

• Manage departmental targets and profitability
• Manage all stock functions: control ordering, maintaining stock levels/range, ensure rotation and more
• Manage Pricing and POS accuracy
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate deliveries
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations
• Maintain and ensure strict hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Maintain and ensure strict Health & Safety procedures
• Manage staff functions like recruitment, training, shifts, ensuring discipline
• Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout
• Store opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
• Tertiary qualifications in Retail, alternatively minimum of 4 years experience in Retail Management/ Bottle store management
• Experience with SIGMA system of advantage
• Computer literate and experience with POS systems / strong organizational skills required
• Staff management experience and excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Willingness to work additional hours if required
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Driver’s license of advantage
