Key Responsibilities

• Planning and forecasting of service intervals and maintaining company vehicles.
• Developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
• Managing and monitoring drivers so they adhere to strict schedules.
• Registering and licensing all company vehicles.
• Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
• Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
• Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
• Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
• Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles.

Requirements

• 3-year Degree or similar qualification in warehouse management/logistics
• 2-years fleet control experience or experience in the transportation industry
• Sound knowledge of vehicle tracking systems
• Valid Driver’s license (CE or C1E will be an added advantage)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving, planning and organizational skills
