Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full accounting function across all branches
• Prepare accurate and timeous monthly management accounts
• Maintain General Ledger integrity and subsidiary ledgers
• Supervise creditors, debtors, payroll and stock accounting
• Ensure accurate asset register management and depreciation schedules
• Prepare structured monthly financial reports, including variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage working capital effectively
• Ensure full compliance with VAT, PAYE, income tax and statutory requirements in Namibia
• Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance systems

Requirements

• Relevant Accounting Degree
• Minimum 3 years’ senior accounting experience
• Strong audit & regulatory compliance experience
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills
• Experience in retail, trading or multi-branch environment advantageous
