Job Title: PURCHASING CLERK
Objective:
To order stock as per supplier call cycle and to follow up on outstanding orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, Placing, and Tracking Purchase Orders
- Monitoring Stock Levels to Prevent Shortages or Excesses
- Maintaining Relationships with Suppliers
- Maintaining Records of Purchases and Suppliers Contacts
- Address Supplier Delays Immediately
Requirements
- Grade 11 with Maths. A Tertiary Qualification will be to your Advantage
- Computer Literacy- Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent Communications Skills (Written and Verbal)
- Attention to Detail
- 2 Years Experience in Purchasing in the FMCG Industry
- Negotiating skills
