CASHBOOK CLERK
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a similar position.
-
Minimum Standard 10 (Grade 12), with the required experience to fulfil the required accounting functions.
-
Cashbook/Banking experience will be an added advantage
Main Requirements:
-
Good computer literacy skills
-
Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
-
Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance and corporate good governance.
-
Good knowledge of Accpac.
-
Good knowledge of Excel.
-
Job accuracy and neatness of great importance.
-
Need to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-
Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
-
Daily EFT & Cheque payments.
-
Process EFT.
-
Process cashbook entries into Accpac on a daily basis.
-
Bank reconciliation.
-
Daily Banking.
-
Compile banking summary on a daily basis
-
Daily credit card reconciliation.
-
Assist with completing of month end.
-
Deal with ad hoc functions for the Accounts department as and when required
