CLIENT SERVICE CONSULTANT – WINDHOEK OFFICE
The successful incumbent will report to the Manager: Services. The incumbent must be well motivated and positive with strong risk compliance/internal audit, administrative, analytical and communication skills, a self-starter who can work independently and in a group.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing professional and courteous assistance
-
Receive member and health care professional enquiries in the Walk-in and Call Centre, assist clients, proactively address enquiries and provide timely feedback to enhance the customer service experience and minimize inconvenience

Document all enquiries/maintain daily statistics on volume and outcome of enquiries
-
Educate members and health care professionals on product structures and fund rules
-
Collaborate with other departments to resolve client enquiries and improve service

Correspond in writing with members, health care providers and other stakeholders
-
Expedite claims and other relevant documentation received

Identify all system errors and assessing anomalies
-
Prepare and maintain reports as required
-
Provide recommendations in respect of service improvements

Assist in general with functions in the Client Services department
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Grade 12 with relevant tertiary education
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Client Service
-
Prior work experience in a medical aid fund environment will be an advantage
-
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook)

Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent client service
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
-
Excellent administrative skills
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-
Excellent verbal and written command of English
-
Willingness and ability to travel outside of Windhoek on an ad hoc basis to provide support at branches when required
