The Ideal Candidate should possess:
• A Grade 12 certificate is essential (attach to application)
• At least 2 years’ sales experience (knowledge of paint & allied products would be an advantage)
• A Proven track record in developing exceptional client relationships
• Persuasive ability
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Confident and outgoing personality
• Commitment to ongoing learning
• Computer literacy is essential (Word, Excel)
• Pastel Point of Sales experience would be an advantage
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans – read, write and speak (German would be an advantage)
• Able to perform in and contribute to the sales team
• Namibian citizen
• Code 8 drivers licence
• Willing to travel extensively and regularly
• Residing in Swakopmund or surrounding areas
• Contactable references
Main responsibilities:
Product representation in market
Team support and inventory control assistance
Completion of quotations and bill of quantities
Reporting to Branch Manager
Expand customer base and grow market share
Regular visits to sites and retailers
Counter sales when required
Relieve at branches where necessary
