PROJECT ACCOUNTANT – INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND NATURE CONSERVATION LINKING CONSERVATION TO DEVELOPMENT – STRENGTHENING CIVIL SOCIETY

• Accounting – processing and record ng
• Procurement – purcha ses of sipplies and a ssets
• Governance, risk and compliance – GAAP, policies, procedures and VAT
• financial efficiency – monitoring expenditures
• Performance management – automated systems
• Financial reporting – periodic reports
• Any other duties assigned by Grants Finance Manager

The successful candidate’s profile:

• M inimum – bachelor’s degree in accounting (NQF7}
• 3 years of work experience in accounting, in a multiple donor funded environment
• Experience in dealing with VAT
• Advance knowfeefee of Accounting Software

• Ability andexpenence in assessing, evaluating and interpreting complex data tor purposes of financial reporting
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and to take initiative
• Valid driver’s licence and able to travel cutside Windhoek frequently
