DESCRIPTION

The Namibia Integrated Employment Information System (NIEIS) platform is currently experiencing technical difficulties, rendering Project HOPE Namibia unable to retrieve and process applications. VACANCY: COMMUNITY CARE WORKER (CCW) X 188

JOB SUMMARY:
CCWs will play a vital role in delivering holistic support to vulnerable children, adolescents, and youth (VCAY) and their households within their communities. They will provide a range of services to enhance the well-being of VCAY and promote their overall development.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum education level of a post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field
• BA degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering community-based health & socioeconomic interventions particularly to vulnerable children, adolescents, and youth (VCAY).
• A good level of written and spoken English.
• Able to speak the local language largely spoken in the district of choice.
• Knowledge of local community dynamics and cultural sensitivity.
• Proven participatory learning and facilitation skills.
• Namibian citizen living in or being from the area/community applied for.
• Women and men in the age group of 18- 35 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the community.
