Reporting to the Assistant Manager: DCM Admin, the incumbent will be required to

Key Responsibilities:

Validate all incoming documents, including but not limited to the shipment with POD, claims and GRV’s as per SAP.
Responsible to generate credit notes for first grade claims and damages (scraps and rework) returned from the market.
Responsible for processing all transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including but not limited to closing of shipments on SAP, process CHEP credit notes and claims.
Ensure that shipments and upliftments/claims are processed and closed off within agreed time frame.
Compile, update and distribute the open shipment report and upliftment report.
Follow up on disputes raised on claims and shipments and resolve the matter with the relevant parties.
Develop and maintain an efficient filing system to ensure updating and retrieving of files are effective including but not limited to scanning and archiving of all POD’s.
Responsible to deal with all Senior Controller: Debtors queries related to claims and CHEP pallets.
Follow-up and resolve open shipments, upliftments/claims and CHEP pallet returns slips.
Act as liaison between the DCM Administrative office and the debriefing employees.

Qualification and Preferred Traits

The successful candidate must have:

Grade 12
Five years’ experience in the field
Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft office and e-mails
Must be result driven with planning and organizing skills
Strong organizational skills
Must have disciplined approach
Good interpersonal relations
SAP experience will be an added advantage
