The manager: Key Accounts will be responsible to lead, motivate, direct, train, control and performance manage the key accounts sales team to ensure world class key account execution to set sales standards and against agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate, gain approval and implement deals and space purchase in line with commercial objectives.
Ensure effective deal, rebate and growth incentive administration, loading and communication.
Responsible for PFG sales price administration including but not limited to price lists, price increases, price discrepancies, deals and maintenance and control of customer pricing masters.
Follow up and resolution on EDI and pricing discrepancies.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly rolling volume forecast for Planning and Replenishment purposes.
Ensure execution of key account objectives in support of the Sales Strategy.
Achieve planned volume sales budget.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly rolling volume forecast for Planning and Production.
Compile, analyse and interpret monthly key account reports: by customer, region, brand, product category and feed into sales execution strategy.
Negotiate, gain approval and implement trading terms and space purchase in line with commercial objectives.
Responsible for all product catalogues and launches, including but not limited to listings, de-listings and master data changes.
Responsible for key account calls and administrative control of the Key Account function.
Qualification and Preferred Traits
The successful candidate must have:
Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Marketing or Sales and at least five(5) years’ management experience in Key Accounts or Field Sales in the FMCG environment
or at least eight (8) years management experience in Key Accounts or Field Sales in in the FMCG environment without a formal qualification
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Excellent leadership skills
Code B Namibian driver’s license
Highly computer literate
SAP experience will be an added advantage
