Job Description

To carry out microbiology analysis on various samples for water quality purpose and to carry out house keeping duties in the microbiology laboratory.

Key Performance Areas

Receive and prepare sample for analysis

Prepare media and working solutions

Perform Microbiological analyses

Carry out housekeeping duties

Clean glassware and labware

Dispose microbiology waste

Carry out quality control and administrative tasks

Skills, Experience & Education

Grade 12 with a D or Higher in Science or Biology with one (1) year job related experience. Pre-appointment training as an added advantage: Exposure to the microbiology laboratory.
