PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provision of technician assistance to the Section Engineer/Engineer on water/waste water related projects, updating the water and waste water on ArcGIS database and hydraulic analysis software (WADISO & SEWSAN)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Project related tasks as assigned to by the Engineer/Section engineer

Design and execution of small-scale ad hoc water/wastewater related projects

Comments on erf applications and sales

Assist the Internal & External Stakeholders with water/wastewater related projects and general queries

Keep the water & sewer services on the ArcGIS database/system up to date

Operate and keep the hydraulic analysis software for water (WADISO) and sewer (SEWSAN) infrastructure up to date

REQUIREMENTS:

B-Tech NQF Level 7/ National Diploma NQF Level 6: Civil Engineering, Operation of WADISO and SEWSAN software (or equivalent).

Three (3) years experience (after Professional Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as Engineering Technician)

Legal Requirement: Registration with th eEngineering Council as a Technician

Legal requirement: A valid code B/BE drivers license.

General Salary & grading:

Patterson Grade: C5

Basic salary: N$39,106 per month

Housing allowance: N$15,642 per month

Transport allowance: N$2,374 per month

Municipal allowance: N$1,809 per month
