Total Energies Marketing Namibia is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of
Health Safety Security and Environment Manager

OVERALL WORK ACTIVITIES:
To ensure TotaEn er gies Marketing Namibia (TMNA) HSEQ implementations and compliances program (in all operation streams of the business) This will be done in liaison with TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa (TMSA) HSEQ Department for Guidance and material support to ensure full HSEQ implementation and compliances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HSEQ Implementation, audits, and reporting:
⦁ To ensure that business management systems are in place to satisfy the requirements of the Group
To implement various HSEQ initiatives within TotalEnergies Namibia ensuring the involvement of all stakeholders (Staff) in order to achieve the highest quality systems and programs
⦁ Manage compliance to the Company’s HSEQ standards, any local by-laws and government legislation to minimize all risks pertaining to the company’s assets and stock.
To act as a change agent for changing the HSEQ culture in the organization (TotalEnergies Nambia), developing a climate of HSEQ compliance, transparency and commitment towards the HSEQ Management System
To manage all HSEQ Inspections and Audits (In consultation with line managers) of all streams of operations and recommend appropriate actions in order to ensu re full HSEQ Compliance.
To man age and con duct HSEQ Audits/inspections, risk assessments at all TotalEnergies Namibia Sites and to ensure effective implementation of corrective action and closure
Conduct adhoc site visits to monitor implementation and compliance to company rules and procedures on HSEQ.
To supervise all investigations for Level 1 events (Hipo’s) and near misses and ensure that appropriate actions to mitigate the identified risks are implemented
Enforce the pro-active HSEQ programs such as reporting of near misses by all Total Namibia employees, contractors and agents.
Compile all HSEQ Statistics Reports and submit to the MD or TMSA on requ est (i. e. Return on Experience (REX), Transporters KPI s. Near Misses, accidents etc)
Compile report analysis of trendsand pattern of accidentsand incidents
⦁ Ensure all Legal Operation licences and permit are valid and upto date for TotalEnergies Namibia (i e wholesale licences, discharging permits, fitness certificates, 0A etc)
Ensure all major construction projects are managed according to Legal requirements. Company Rules/policies especially on contract management. Safety file & work permit procedures.
Assist with the management of invariants and approval of downgraded procedures when required by line managers.
Ensure monthly HSEQ meeting (to be attended by MD and all other Une Managers) with a set agreed agenda.
In conjunction with Une Managers and ste heads – Ensure that all TotalEnergies Nambia sites have Emergencies Preparedness procedures and monthly/quarterly drills take place
Achievements of TN A Vision, Mission, and Annual Objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Appropriate HSEQ or related Tertiary Qualification (Degree) or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years experience in the HSEQ field or Petroleum Industry (preferably 3 years at the supervisory or managerial level)
SAMTRAC and/or ISO Certifications (ISO 9001 / 14001 & 45001)
Certificates for Fire Fighting / First Aid / Incident Investigation / Risk Assessments will be added advantages
Good knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation both local and international
⦁ Ability to communicate in both written and spoken English
⦁ Good work rig knowledge of MS Office.
Strong report writing and analytical skills.
A valid Code B driver’s license is a must
