Job Responsibilities

• Perform financial performance reviews (funding ratios).
• Manage interest rate risk in the banking book.
• Funding liquidity risk analysis.
• Monitoring of foreign exchange translation risk.
• Assist in bank stress testing.
• Depositor concentration analysis.
• Positioning the bank for Basel III (LCR and NSFR) implementation.
• Contractual funding gap analysis.
• Business as usual Gap reporting.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing of ALCO related policies.
• Compilation of ALCO pack.
• Managing relationship with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide assistance to auditors and respond/resolve audit findings proactively.
• Ensuring that deadlines are strictly met.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Minimum Experience Level

• Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis (FMVA) certificate will be an added advantage.
• Accounting background and experience/track record in a regulatory reporting role.
• Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
• Financial Industry experience is essential.

Preferred Qualification

• Grade 12 (25 Points) B.Tech (Accounting, Finance) or any other relevant degree.
