Base Supervisor – SLB 286 views

Mission

The Base Supervisor is responsible for repair, manufacture, inspection, and mobilization of assets based on forecasted demand.

Responsibilities

• Optimize repair costs and lead times while standardizing processes and work flows on shop floors.
• Planning and controlling the management of assets within the location to cover immediate customer requirement.
• Ensure all operational procedures, quality procedures and HSE policies are being followed.
• Manage shop employees, day-to-day activities in the shop.
• Follow up maintenance of Base items like AC, lights, plumbing. He will not do it himself but ensure it is done.
• Coordinate repairs works in the base like broken windows, painting needed etc.
• Coordinate forklifts and cranes.
• Issue and sign off permits to work.
• Housekeeping in all SLB Facilities.
• Follow up payment of Base rentals and utilities.
• Fill Facilities management apps like ARC.

Experience & Exposures:

• 5+ years’ experience as Base or Facilities supervisor.
• Candidate must be of Namibian Nationality.
• Experience in energy industry is a plus.
• Bachelors’ degree in any discipline.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Able to follow directions and company policies including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards and procedures.
• Client, Service Quality and Performance focused.
• Ability to learn quickly and translate learning into practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to use own initiative.
