Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Monitoring and Quality Control of all processes in the hatchery. Summarising results in tables and graphs and interpretation of information gathered.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production DataFollow-up and feed-back reporting as required Record keeping Compiling reports and graphs Check Cleaning and servicing of all equipment as required. Quality Control and Processes All measurements/quality controls that needs to be taken in the hatchery Controlling setter/hatcher/room temperatures Planning of sets Monitoring transfers & all movements Manage and interpret trials Recording and summarising measurements on spreadsheets and graphs General Strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Bio Security policies and procedures. General duties associated with the department Perform ad hoc tasks as needed and required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Grade 12 (NQF 4) passed with Mathematics. Computer Literate; Microsoft office with excellent Excel and Graph skills. Relevant Diploma / Certification will be highly advantageous Two (2) Years in a structured, fast paced, intensive work environment. Previous experience in a FMCG environment will be highly advantageous Namibian citizen Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous. Willing and able to work overtime, Sundays and on Public Holidays as and when required.
