Erongo Marine Enterprises (PTY) LTD (“EME”) is a proudly Namibian registered fishing company, based in Walvis Bay and operates in the Horse Mackerel fishery. EME has an exemplary record in respect of its fishing operations as well as its focus on socio-economic investment and development, both regionally and nationally. We are looking to fill the following vacancy:

Purpose of the role: Responsible for the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Fishmeal plant’s equipment and machinery.

Minimum role requirements & experience

• • Minimum requirements – 5 years experience as a fishmeal operator on a meridian type midwater trawler (a relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
• • Technical fitter knowledge and experience on repairs of fishmeal plant equipment
• • Experience in the horse mackerel industry and/or on horse mackerel midwater trawlers (added advantage)
• • Required to work pre-dominantly at sea.
