Description

The successful incumbents will be responsible for strengthening the capacity of the district to prepare and effectively respond to COVID-19 and any other outbreaks especially focused on IPC measures.

Requirements

• Provide administrative support to the District Surveillance team.
• Compile Surveillance team meeting agendas, minutes and file all response documents
• Assist with daily and weekly reporting for surveillance and other related functions
• Identify and request supplies required for the response, in collaboration with surveillance officer
• Coordinate logistic requests/needs for the response teams
• Identify quarantine facilities for arrivals from high-risk regions/countries into district and frontline health workers, in collaboration with the district/hospital administrator. Support with outbreak-related data entry
• Support district level response to co-ordinate quarantine data and contact tracing
• Co-ordinate with regional level to ensure the flow of information
• Manage response resources (budget, equipment and supplies) at the district level, in collaboration with the response team
• Participate in the development and implementation of the district response plan and perform other tasks as delegated by the Supervisor.
• Perform any other lawful duties as assigned by the reporting line.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Public Administration or Business Administration
• 3 – 5 proven experience in administrative duties
• Data management, health information and/or statistical qualification will be an added advantage
