DEBT RECOVERY ACCOUNTANT (PATERSON JOB GRADE D1) – Social Security Commission (Ssc) 4 views

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors adherence and enforces compliance with the Debt collection Policy and Procedures
• Controls and coordinates the Debt Management & collection of revenue from defaulters
• Manages and oversees the reconciliation of Debtors accounts and preforms the reconciliation of debtors control accounts and income accounts.
• Bad debtor list compilation
• Controls and oversees the Contribution and Assessment Invoices process
• Administration
• Compiles the Accounts receivable audit files
• F10 posting verification
• Staff Supervision
• Customer Care (internal and external)

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Finance / Accounting, or equivalent.
• 5-8 years in finance environment, of which 3 years should have been spent at a supervisory level. Experience in Revenue and Debt Management should be an advantage.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
