Key Responsibilities

• Ensure framing, clearing and release of consignments for delivery by customs.
• Screen invoices for correctness and ensure correct commodity and CPC codes are used.
• Complete VAT payment and VOC sheets.
• Completion of Import and Export documentation (SAD500).
• Assist in the verification process.
• Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Clearing Agent.

Requirements

• Valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points).
• 2-5 years’ applied experience in framing and clearing of customers documents.
• Must be familiar with Customs & Excise procedures (Classification, Import & Export requirements).
• Must have sound knowledge of Asycuda World system its rules and regulations.
• Prepared to work irregular hours night shifts (21h00-07h00), weekends and shifts.
• Namibian Citizenship.
• Code of Conduct (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than 3 months.
• Being in possession of a valid Code B driver’s license will be an added advantage.
