Wesbank Transport – Weighbridge Operator

ADVERTISEMENT: 1 X WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR

Location: Walvis Bay.

The position’s main responsibilities are:

• Weighing trucks at the weighbridge after ensuring that the customer has paid.

• Report any problems with the scale or printer to supervisor.

• Upload weighbridge tickets to the One Drive System daily.

• Keeping weighbridge and weighbridge office clean and neat & Wesbank 2 yard clean and neat.

• Perform ad-hoc forklift duties as and when required.

• Perform any other duties as may be requested from time to time.

The suitable candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12, with relevant experience in weighbridge and yard operations as well as operating a forklift (valid forklift license and operator’s card).

• Must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills – read, write, speak (English and Afrikaans).

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers.

• Must be extremely accurate with a high attention to detail.

• Be able to do problem solving, work independently as well as in a team and be stress resilient.

• Must have sober habits.

• Namibian Citizen with a valid code of conduct (Police Clearance) not older than 3 months.
