FREELANCE CONTRIBUTOR: TENDER PAGE

JOB PURPOSE

To establish a tender page in the New Era News Paper.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Sourcing Tender Notices

• Verification and Accuracy Checks

• Compilation and Content Preparations

• Deadline and Workflow Management

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree [NQA Level 7] in journalism, business administration, supply chain management, public procurement, or related field and 3 years of experience.

• Or Grade 12 with 7 years relevant working experience

• Ability to source and compile tenders from SOEs, NGOs and the Private sector.

• Knowledge of public procurement procedures and tender terminology.

COMPETENCY/SKILLS

• Good command of the English language and any other local language

• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure

• Computer literacy

• Integrity
