Description Namibia Tours & Safaris team
We are currently looking for a full-time Senior Travel Consultant to join our dynamic sales team of Travel Experts.

The role is specialised in customised travel arrangements for Namibia Tours & Safaris agents and direct clients. To convert leads into confirmed bookings offering exceptional written and communication skills through the full sale and service cycle of a client’s journey while maintaining the reputable high standard of the company. This is a fast-paced, varied and consumer-centric sales role. This permanent position will be based at our head office in Swakopmund.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Have 5 years experience in an industry-related position
Experience working on and using industry-standard travel booking programs
A personable character
In-depth knowledge of Namibia and southern Africa
Have travelled extensively
High-performance culture
Excellent supplier relationships
Ability to acquire and maintain client relationships at all levels
Be organised, keeping work up to date and accordding to company standards

Key Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Acting as the point of liaison for international clientele interested in booking tailor-made holidays and safaris to southern Africa
Meeting and exceeding sales demands and conversion targets
Share expert knowledge and advice as well as offer travel tips while working with a client to create and plan their dream holiday
A strong focus on pre-sales service, quotations and itinerary planning based on individual client preferences
Ability to accurately book and confirm all suppliers as necessary throughout the travel booking process
Approve and check supplier invoices for payment
Compile travel documents
Offer customer support before, during and after travel
