Sales Director
A vacancy exists for a Sales Director within the VAS and Card division Kazang Prepaid. Namibia.
The purpose of the role would be to develop Product strategies and plan to achieve the ‘what’ – Products include multi-lane switching, payments product, loyalty, and gift voucher solutions at major Retail channels.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
⦁ Embrace a ‘product as a business’ mindset, taking ownership of the product’s life cycle.
⦁ Design and execute product strategy for commercial success, setting clear objectives, criteria, and timelines.
⦁ Collaborate with the Executive team to formulate and implement a robust business plan.
⦁ Drive end-to-end execution, ensuringthe product aligns with the overall strategy.
⦁ Foster internal and external engagement, evangelizing the product’s value.
⦁ Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
⦁ Develop measurement frameworks to assess product performance and identify enhancement opportunities.
⦁ Stay updated on industry advancements and technological developments.
Product Knowledge:
⦁ Remain informed about industry trends, technology, and legal requirements.
⦁ Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future of the product.
⦁ Guide the organization in understanding future opportunities and options.
People and Team:
⦁ Promote coherence and collaboration across the company.
⦁ Prevent conflicts and silos among competing priorities.
General Management and Oversight:
⦁ Take ownership of the product’s cost center and delivery budget.
⦁ Lead the annual budgeting process, aligning with objectives and scope.
⦁ Manage the budget, forecasting, and financial controls.
Governance and Compliance:
⦁ Ensure compliance with regulations and legislations.
⦁ Manage risk and governance, Key defining Risk Indicators.
Stakeholder Management:
⦁ Build relationships togain trust and manage stakeholder expectations.
⦁ Foster a network that enhances the product’s reach and impact.
Education & Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor’s Degree/MBAin Commercial, Business. orTechnology fields.
Experience Required:
⦁ 10+ years in business/project/product management.
⦁ Proven experience in strategic, tactical, and technical levels.
⦁ Successful ownership of a product and commercials.
⦁ Ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
⦁ Strongcommunicationskillsfortechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences.
⦁ Proficiency in authoring product-related documents.
⦁ Skill in using data to measure success.
⦁ Experience with client development and product validation.
⦁ Strong leadership and remote team management skills.

Salary:
