JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer shall be the first in command within NASCAM and shall be responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of the organization’s operations. This shall include supervision and control of all strategic and operational aspects of the organization. The Incumbent shall be tasked with providing the proper strategic direction for the organization, as well as creating a vision for success with the primary goal of driving the NASCAM’s development and guiding it toward long-term success.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Lead the development and implementation of the organizational Strategic Plan ensuring its alignment to the short-term and long-term goals of the organization.
⦁ Oversee all operational and strategic aspects of the organization.
⦁ Enforce implementation of organizational policies and procedures to enhance integrity and overall governance.
⦁ Provide strategic direction to advance the mission, vision and objectives of the organization
⦁ Design and implement comprehensive performance management techniques to drive accountability and productivity within the organization.
⦁ Build strategic corporate relationships that will drive the objectives and mission of NASCAM
⦁ Identify, develop and implement corporate governance practices that will lead to a good reputation for NASCAM and trust for its staff members and activities.
⦁ Guide and ensure proper financial management and control within the organization.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
⦁ A Masters Degree in Commercial Law, or Intellectual Property Management, or Business Administration or Business Management/ Finance & Taxation or similar fields.
⦁ A Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
⦁ Should be innovative and display an in-depth knowledge of commercial law, intellectual property, financial management, policy development, corporate governance, people management and general organizational management with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies for organizational success.
⦁ Knowledge on governance of organizations similar to NASCAM will be of added advantage.
REMUNERATION STRUCTURE
Basic salary scale: N$ 326,720.00 – 336,720.00 Per Year
