Job description:

• Financial receiving of stock
• Liaise with warehouse and goods receiving supervisor
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is attached to supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders
• Liaise with buyers and inform them of any discrepancies
• Prepare and send credit requests to suppliers
• Ensure that credit notes are received in a timely manner
• Evaluate suppliers, manage supplier contract and trading terms, resolve disputes, maintain records
• Calculate transport costs to determine profit/loss on freight
• Assist creditors with queries to ensure continuous buying
• Manage internal customer relations

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• 3 Years’ experience in a goods receiving role
• Good written and communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Good organizational and planning skills, strong admin skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to plan, prepare and assist with the annual budgeting to ensure effective budget planning to execute operations
• Working knowledge of the retail environment
• Must be able to oversee proper record keeping of all supplier information
• Must be proactive, able to work autonomously and perform under pressure
• Must be Microsoft Office proficient, especially Microsoft Excel
• Code 08 Driver’s license will be an advantage
• Namibian citizen
